A few mornings ago, I was praying and singing to the Lord. Soon, I began to see with the eyes of my spirit. I saw Jesus standing on the bank of a dark, still lake. He crouched down to put His finger into the lake. He quietly and methodically began to move His finger in circles, moving the water around Him. I watched intently, waiting for Him to glance my way or to speak, as He sometimes does. This time, however, once He  finished stirring the water, Jesus walked back up the river bank and disappeared into the nearby woods, as if to say, “See, I stirred it up, now you continue.”  I glanced back at the water, which now had numerous large ripples, reaching to the far edges of the lake. 

I believe this is a prophetic vision for myself and for you! We will see the Lord’s hand have a ripple effect in this season. A ripple effect, where one event produces effects that spread and produce further effects. God has given us His name, His authority, His power and His strength to complete the things He has begun in us! 

I believe that God is stirring up the following areas:

• Our souls and spirits
• Our gifts and talents
• Our churches and ministries 
• Our families and spheres of influence
• Our nation and communities

I’m convinced a ripple effect will result, as the finger of God activates and energizes us to advance His kingdom in this hour. May we go forth, stirred up, allowing the current of His power continue to reach the deepest and farthest areas of our lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.
